Has anyone installed 16x8 wheels on a 2wd Luv. I'm intend to use 50 series tires to keep the overall diameter to 24.5". Will I run into any trouble with the steering clearance? The rear tires should be okay. Anyone has pics with this setup?

I had to look it up, but stock size luv tires, 195/75R14 are only 25.5". Going down to 215/50R16 tires at 24.5" is just a 4.1% difference. I thought it would be more myself, but that is fairly close.

I have 60 series 15 inch tires on my 79 4x4 right now. (Don't ask, prior owner did it) I don't know how much worse 16 inch wheels will be, but I don't have any problems with rubbing anywhere. I would think as long as they are spaced enough to tuck or at be near even with the fender that you should be fine. I do have a little torsion cranked lift right now though, so its hard to say.
