that gasket is a cheap one and if it doesn't fit then it's the parts store's problem... go down there with the bad one and have em' get the right one out of the back.

how far off are they anyway? they don't need to be perfect and if they arn't rimmed with meatal or anything you can trim edges to fit...i've done this many times with the old dodge colt i used to have, just don't score the gasket on it's surface and be clean with your cuts.

I got the gasket in a kit off ebay, and I've alraedy used most of the gaskets that came with it, so there ain't gonna be no returning. They are off far enough that they cover over half the coolant passages on the #2 and 4 cylinders and they are lined with metal so I can't cut them either.

It just gets really damn frustrating to be nickeled and dimed to death for something that at this point should be just putting it together.

When you get that one all mastered , please let me know...
I have two engines here that need assembled, and ZERO time on my hands to do it all.
Hoping you get a "mail-mans holiday" and decide to drop by sometime :D

I do have 2 weeks paid vacation. And 22 Personal hours I can get anytime. I just need a vehicle good enough to make down there.

I'm thinking about getting a loan from the bank and buying Lisa the Mazda MPV she wants, making sure it has a tow kit and taking my vacation time to drive down there and cashing in my personal time to buy stuff from ya. All I need to do is pay off the bills I have.
