Got the motor back in after the head work and pretty much just took off. :D

Runs like a scalded dog, but still needs a little work. I haven't put the cooler hoses on it yet, so I haven't driven it very far. :)

I love my VW. Can't wait to get my other LUV back though.

My grandfather has it. Its a stock 76 that I painted purple for some reason or another.

It's in Oklahoma right now. Motor has about 40k miles on it since the rebuild in 1998, and the body is damn near perfect. I put some bucket seats out of some mitsubishi car in it. I wish I had some pics.

I even made a custom front bumper out of 1/4" steel. Heavy as hell, but it sure won't dent! :)
