omg that is the weirdest thing i have ever seen....well almost, i see honda crx mini stocks running at lanier national speedway, but that is beside the point. it looks good and im sure that it runs well.

i had one just like that many years ago exept mine was turquoise and white....I put 231 V6 buick w auto in it and it was one screamin demon :D 8) :twisted:

hey bighappy, I thought the same thing.

I remember when I was a kid ,there was a guy in Maryville, Tenn. that collected those cars. He didn't care if they ran or not. Hell, I thought he had snatched up every last one of 'em. lol. Guess not!

I wasnt directing that coment towards anyone in particular. Over the last couple years at work Im the "old" guy in our department so I feel Ive got a decent grasp on the knowledge of SOME of the younger generations. About old cars I mean. Most know what a mid 70s camaro looks like, but before that, forget it. And mention a chevy luv and you get a giggle and "A what?"

that's nice.... i have a buddie up the street that is restoring/tweaking out an old packard with a straight 8(512ci)...... he aspires for a hot august nights street/ strip car but is having a hard time finding a trans that will take the torque.

the crankshaft he just had reground weighs so much it takes three people to pick it up. the machinest had to call us up to move it around in the shop three times before it was done.

those are commonly referred to as "Clown Cars" that particular one has a 502 BBC in it if I recall correctly.
