Figured I would ask since we have so many members scattered all over. Myself personnaly I like to deer hunt, but totally spaced gettin my tag until 2 fridays ago when I was lying in bed and rememberd that that night was the last day to get your tag. What a dumb ass! Had the rifle all ready to go and everything. But on a good note, my father in law nailed a big 7x7 950lb. Elk opening day.{ elk season that is } So looks like I will still end up with some jerky and salami

This year I got drawn for Elk in the Cypress Hills West Block. (Southwestern Saskatchewan) Can't shoot a bull though, cow or this years calf , but nevertheless, I get to shoot an elk. Get to fill that tag out between Dec. 13 and Dec. 31 Other then that, Hopefully get some whitetail hunting in later on in November. Got drawn for Mule Deer last year, so I never got drawn this year. They closed the moose season here (except for like 5 days, but I am busy them 5 days) so moose hunting is out of the picture. Thats about it for Big game. If time persists might go do some Partridge and/or Chicken hunting. Tasty little birds they are....

j/k no I don't go hunting, but guess what? up at my boyfriend's house there are about 4 deer, 1 adult female, 1 buck, and 2 baby girls, but they can't be shot. They're so cute, I leave apples out for them just so they come back.

a friend of mine's dad makes wooden style bow and arrows and he goes hunting in Wyoming. They're really cool looking bows. It's kinda freaky, their whole house has deer and elk heads on the walls, there's a whole bear, some animals from Africa, lots of stuff.

and that's all I have to say about that.

NO deer or elk this year, but i may be going qual hunting later this month or next, thats about it, would LUV to have some elk jerkey right now though mmmmmm, but i'll have to wait dang, i hate waiting

hey rezkid why don`t you get an over the couter archery deer tag? i think that tag still has a couple of hunt dates left on it. i also think its good until feburary. a coworker was telling me the tag overlaps the begining of the year for some reason. he went to get one tonight

I hunt......usually every other weekend. Havn't gotten any deer yet. I always see them when I am walking out and it is dark (wish nightvision was legal). Although me and my buddy spent 3 days hiking and camping out tword prospect and didn't see any deer worth shooting, on the drive home we hit a medium sized 4 pt buck with his big pos ford. So we shot it (hell it was going to die anyway) and now we have deer jerkey.
