FYI

I found out that Monza rotors will work just like Vega's on the disk brake swap.A fellow LUV owner here online confirmed it.I picked up a new set for $20 on e-Bay.

Are the Monza 5 lug? Or do you stillhave to re-drill?

Finally,put the chevy monza rotors on.Bored to fit LUV bearings, bore depth 1 1/8 on front and rear, rotors cut to .700 thick, 1/8th thick spacer used behind rear bearings on the spindle.MOROSO 2 7/8 long racing studs with .480 knurl.

Well thats cool, but what about the calipers? Do you use the monza calipers and brackets?

you can use the luv calipers and have to shave a little bit off of them, but they will work.

That is correct, I used the stock calipers just like he explained in the swap info.Precision Brakes wanted $1800 for a one off four piston disc brake setup for LUV.They said they would build them for $1200 if enough people ordered them at the same time.The swap is far less than that and well worth it.

I'am also building this LUV to be rule book legal for drag racing.That's why I have the extra long racing studs.
