Hmm, hypothetically speaking. . .

If you were putting in a helo-coil and you stripped out the threads that the heli-coil threads into. . .Can you fix this?

Yup! Bigger hole, new threads and bigger helio coil with a bigger spark plug.

I'd like to think that he thinks more highly of his fellow luv enthusiasts.

No offense or anything, but that doesn't help your heroic struggle for the betterment of used car salesmans reputations. . .

I am NO LONGER into used car sales (in case you haven't read up on me), and ......NO I absolutely would NEVER do sucha thing to a LUV :!: 8O

Notice I said "DATSUN pickup" and i also said YEARS AGO.....many years ago, and the truck was a real pile anyway. I do NOT have the Love for Datsuns that i do for LUV's. So easy.......DON'T start w the bashing again

Furthermore......my parts sell themselves, you don't want to deal w me because of something I did 20 + years ago, so be it. That just leaves more for the next man.Because since i got the yard going and posted my phone number in this site(as well as others) I get PLENTY of calls for parts EVERYDAY :!: 8)
