I came up with the s/n hondakidus about 5 years ago, when I was 11. That was when I first started dirt biking, and I rode a Honda CR80. I tried just plain hondakid, but it was taken, so I added us at the end because my jersey was the american flag. I still ride a honda, but it's a CR125, so I still use it for every board I'm on.

Mine, (originally..Wildman) was because everytime my buddies would ride with me, (after I got my license) I'd scare the *%#@ out of 'em. One buddy inparticular, started calling me Wildman. He said he'd NEVER ride with me again.....he did.

Leadfoot, is one my Parents called me. I TOTALED 2 cars, BEFORE I ever got my license. Then, right after gettin my license, I got 2 speeding tickets within a weeks time.

Now 21 years later, including all of the above, I've only had 3 wrecks, 8 speeding tickets, So far...

mines pretty simple, my folks are both from Nebraska and I was raised a Huskers fan. Funny thing is that since I was an Army brat, but now currently serving, my dad retired in Texas and I have lived all my life between Texas and Germany, so I call Texas home.
Later,
Husker

Max Torque is our Propulsion Section mascot. My avatar is actually a six foot mural of Max Torque on one wall of our shop. The name comes from the fact that turboprop power is measured in in.lbs. of torque, hence "maximum torque".

Mine is pretty simple. My first name is Jason and I love to race. If it has an engine and wheels I'll race it. Thats where the racing part caomes in. When I signed up with AOL I had a 92 Camaro rs. Hince the 92 part. The Camaro has since been traded for a 92 ford Bronco Centurion. But the name remains.

Years ago when i first bought my Luv, i was always tweaking, tuning and rebuilding stuff on the thing. Of course i was always asking questions about carb emissions and stuff. One guy in my shop was always a hands on kind of help. His name is Al Frost. One day as i walked in to the shop, Al asked "How's the Blue Meanie running?" I figured he came up with the name by referring to the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" movie. At that point, the truck had a hopped up 1.8 motor that screamed for what it was. The name felt appropreate so it was that from then on.

800XL - the model number of my old Atari computer. My other hobby (besides LUVs) is collecting and tinkering with old Atari computer stuff. Haven't done much lately though, had better things to spend my money on.

Thread from the dead.

I think a friend of mine used to call me Rondog all the time. Then it was part of my first e mail address. When I told the dispatcher at work to send those jokes on his computer to mine, and I told him Rondog.... it just stuck and many guys at work called me Rondog.

An old buddy in high school used to call me Holmes all the time. When I finally asked him why, he said " aren't you Ron Holmes, John Holmes' cousin?" I said "Yea, that's me."

Mine is my Business name nothing special or tricky. I could change it to "Fly Boy" that's the nickname I been given offshore. Because I flew the ROV into some really tight impossible places one day saving the company bank loads of money by preventing a near catastrophe in record time, So for the rest of that job I did all the flying and was nicknamed "Fly Boy" we'll see......

Mine started when I was just a little kid. I was a lot smaller than the rest of the kids and one big fat kid in particular used to pick on me all of the time. My uncle, who had been a bull rider when he was younger and was a longshoreman at the time, took me aside and told me to stop being a freakin' crybaby and to just take a BFR (big f@#kin' rock) or a BFS (big f@#kin' stick) and knock the kid down and do whatever I had to do to kick his butt.

So a few days later, when he came to take me fishing after school, I was really late...so he went looking for me. He found me in the school yard in a big cloud of dust on top of the bully beating the s@#t out of him. When he pulled us apart, the other kid's hands were covered in bite marks (an improvised method of fighting on my part...lol) and had a big gash on his head from a big rock I had thrown at the back of his head the minute he turned around to walk away after picking on me.

When he explained it all later to my Mom (and the local cops)...he described the site of me on top of that kid punching and biting him in a cloud of dust as looking like that Tasmamnian Devil cartoon character.

And Taz it's been ever since...and Tumwater is the town I live in.

On a couple of other non-automotive sites I'm also known as Nunya Biznuss...which is what I used to say my name was back in my younger wilder thug days when a person I didn't like or trust wanted to know my name.
