 Post subject: IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!

After buying a 77 Luv step side that had a knock in the engine, turned out to be a spun bearing on the #1 cynlinder rod, I finally was able to start it up last night. I had it rebuilt and put it back in my self. As the 1.8 liter motor roared to life I waited with baited breath for the oil pressure to register and it did. I went to 60lbs. All is well I'll be able to test drive it tonight. Next step is to smog it so I can get the tags!!!!!!!!

it always feels good when an engine starts up after being completely disassembled.

yes it is a good feeling to fire an engine up after a full tear down. 8)

i had a similar experience just recently i started my luv for the 1st time eva in the 3 yrs ive had it, i didnt give the engine a full rebuild, just the top end gaskets got changed, now i have to attach my clutch so i can drive it for the 1st time :lol:

it is a good feeling isnt it :wink:
