So there i was facing 19mpg in my LUV whith my 28" TSL swampers. So i decided i would get my 28" all terains remounted to come back up to the wonderfull 22mpg i enjoyed before the swampers. The only wheels i had around were my Troopers factory rims, so i ran down to the tire shop and had them mount em. Then i got home...
The troopers rims rubbed on the greese housing on the upper A-arm, no good. So rather than doing the sensable thing and putting the swampers back on i looked at the trooper. It has 30x9.50R15 BFG A/Ts on my LUVs old 15" rims (they had more backspacing and thus gave the trooper a 2" greater track width, thats why they were on there). So i persuaded the fenders a little whith the 8lbs sledge and I now have 30" BFG A/Ts on my LUV, whith no rub, untill i hit a driveway too fast or i hit a pot hole or...

i already had some fun whith some air shears...
Mine are rubbing on the inside of the fenders on that back when i turn and stuff. Its the footwell for the cab im perty shure. But anyway, my 80 makes the stock 79 look all wussy
