need help. i have changed out the timing cover oil seal twice and can not get the leak stopped.. has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it..

Do you have a stock motor??

If it is the stock motor, I think they make a redi-sleeve for it, that slips over the crank in the area the seal rides against to make up for wear on the shaft.

It's a stock 1.8 g180. Do you know who would have a repair sleeve.

http://www.rockauto.com used to list one for it, but I have not looked in a while. I imagine most local parts stores could find it as well, though it often depends on how good the person behind the counter is. Around here I've found a few people in auto parts stores that were pretty clueless, and a few that really know how to look up a part.
