it looks like i'll be picking up a new car tonight.
1975 datsun 280z
i've always liked the style of them but i don't know nothin about them. i know its a inline 6 and thats about it. i hear there pretty powerfull and they make sweet donuts

i'm buying it from a buddy of mine. 400 bucks. he says the engine is real strong. it has a little rust but overall real straight. interior is shot. it looks like a cat lived in it and tore up all the leather i just want it as a little play toy to mess around with.

anybody know anything about them ?

small blocks fit in them nicely!

I like those cars. you will have fun with it.
however I don't have much experience with them.

put 3 webers on the 6 i wonder if it is turbo charged or not
i like the z cars right on 400 bucks

If it is a '75' it is a still a 240z, in '76' they made it a 260z and in '77' they went to the 280z. I can't remember right off what year they started making the 280z in turbo, but I don't think it was until the zx models came out.

he told me it was a 75 280z. i typed that in on cardomain and it brought up a couple 280's for that year.
i'm getting ready to go get it now

half the car is primered. i need to finish it today. interior isn't as bad as i remember. only the back seat is torn. doesn't matter since it's comin out for room for subs

i'll probably offer him 300. one of the injecters are cracked and it sputters and backfires alot when you first start it up. once it gets warm it sounds good. i have'nt driven it yet so i don't know how it drives.
whooo hooo, i've been in my house a month and i bet the neibors hate me. this makes car number 4 there all really gonna love me once the luvs on the road and i come home from work at 5am with dual flowmasters

just watch it, because they can file a complaint with the city and the vehicles that do not run they can tell you to get rid of them.
we had to build a fence up, so the un-running cars wouldn't be an eyesore.

looks like a fun little car! My buddy and me almost killed ourselfs in one of those. Long story and I wont bore you, but those things can haul some ass

yeah, i think i'm done for now, maybe a bike in a couple months

amuse me i'd like to hear that. i took it out today and damn it hauls serious ass it's like the throttle is endless on these cars
somethings grinding on the rear end somewhere. i'm going to pull the tires off in the morning but other than that i love it

I had one with a V8 in it. what a fun car it was... even for a stocker tired V8.

looks like i'm getting rid of it. it's highly been pissing me off the last couple days and i don't want to deal with it anymore.after it damn near burned all the skin off my thumb i said fuck it. sad thing is it was really abused. i'm just going to get it running and get rid of it to make room for another luv there's a lifted 80 4x4 in the paper out here i've had my eyes glued on
