Catfish have such a long life it is unbelieveable how big they get (sorta like stergen). I remeber my grandfather showing me a picture of a catfish that was pulled out of an area they were building a dam, using a team of 12 horses. it was HUGE. It was like as long as the team of horses (I was 10 when I saw the picture).

Probably not... Once a fish gets that old and abnormally large, the meat tends to get squishy. That's what i draw from my experiences, though. Im no master fisherman by any means :?

That is one hell of a fish, you think that that fish would be smart (because it is so old) enough to know when there is a line that big in the water and to not bite :lol: (Bastards)! I have over 200.00 worth of fishing lures and such and a boat with a 50 hp motor that I had to rebuild I cant even catch one fish well except for the cropy that I caught that was pregnant and had to throw back :lol:
