Same here as well. I used to belong to a crown vic club on the net and when I bought the luv I didn't think their could be a truck as cool as this without some fans.

I hear from him every now and then. He still visits the site from time to time. I'll leave it up to him to post details about his personal life, but maybe he'll stop by.

Same with me... at the time, i wasnt sure if i wanted to keep the luv or not (knew NOTHING about them), but when i saw pics of the luvs on this site, and read a few threads, that inspired me to find info from more... fomal sources. When i found how versitile the lil buggers are, and how easy they are to work on... i was sold (again).
THANKS LUVTRUCK!!!!

After deciding to use the LUV chassis under my Studebaker, I did a Google search for "Chevy LUV discussion forum" & this fine establishment was up at the top.

I coulda just asked MEPR on the Ford Six forum, but I didn't know he had a LUV.........

I had a thread in the wanted section of the Pirate4x4.com board looking for a Luv and a member there directed me to look here. I'm glad he did cause this is a really cool site! I notice there are alot of "want to buy Luv" ads here but I am still in search of a Luv to call my own in Nor Cal. I must be  to think I can find one but I want a pre-smog stepside. Hey a guy can dream can't he?

Can't really remember how I found this site, I think it came on one of those AOL CD's I always get in the mail - but I met this cool dude that I found on the Internet doing searches for LUV trucks, we know him as Ben - I remember back in May of 2002 we had this really stupid idea of creating a Chevy LUV website - but anyway now here it is, 1078 members later! I later went on to be a LUV truck sell out - and moved on to a Nova project, never did I realise that my friend Ben would eventually become "THE GOD OF ALL THAT IS LUV". :D

PS: Don't forget to send lots of money to Ben if you like this website.

Damn straight! - I am still alive, but I have been busy. I think I am back for a while now, my Nova is now finaly very near completion, that thing sucked years of my time alone, not to mention I got to go through a divorce last year - what fun, and recently bought a new house. But now that my Nova is just about done, I feel the need to search for another LUV truck, dont know why, just want another one to have, I never, NEVER see them anymore and that sucks, such cool trucks. I heard from the guy that now owns my 75, he lives in Sonora, CA and last I heard he was yanking the motor out to repair some major motor mount damage that was done to it by the previous owner (the guy I sold it to) - and for the most part it was still a nice little truck. I lost the guys number, I wanted to call him and ask him to let me know if he ever wants to sell it, the damn thing will follow me to the grave anyway so I might as well just make the effort to regain ownership of it someday. and I understand it is off the smog thing now.

I still keep in touch with Ben and Mike and a couple others on the website now and then, now that I am out of the nova hell I created, I am finding I have more time to play and see whats up in the LUV community. I think it's awesome there is a website that has just about any tid bit of LUV info all in one place, my hat off to Ben for sticking with it so long!

If anyone would like to see the build pics of my rig, just check out my homepage www link below, one cool thing about my 63 is the front tires and wheels are the ones off my LUV, I got them from the guy I sold it too, so in small forms there are little parts of the LUV in it.

Derek
