i know this is not luv related, but i thought someone here may be able to help me. My friend recently bought a 1986 chevy s-10 4x4, with the 2.5 4cyl motor. And we can not find the engine specs anywhere. We are curious to what kind of torque and horsepower he is getting. I have looked online, but to know avail. I don't know if i am not searching correctly, but a am frusterated. And i come to the good people of Luvtruck in need of help! If anyone can direct me to a website that will give me the info i am looking for that would be great.

look on google for the "iron duke" as this motor is called. good little engine, but not too great in the power department. also i think it's a pushrod 4cyl, way behind for it's time(even in the 80s!)

put that bitch on a dyno because it is going to change from engine to engine
