Run the weedeater wearing shorts. I don't care how cool you are, or how hot you get wearing long pants, wear protective clothing. I Just spent an hour digging big chunks of glass out of my left leg. I was using a blade on my weedeater for brush removal, and hit a glass bottle. It blew up and pieces went into my leg. It is ok, I have it bandaged, and drank some tequilla to get rid of any infection. Also, wear some sort of eye protection. I think I got a sliver in my left eye as well. It will pop out someday.

I think we need a subsection on this forum for stupid things that we do (auto related or not). It would make for some good reading. We could have a dumbass of the week award to whoever does the stuppidiest thing

I am 28, but I could say I was a casualty of the war on stupidity.

Welding while wearing insulated coveralls half way soaked with Acetone. My arm and chest got burnt pretty bad. But what pissed me off was the fact the the insulated Carhart coveralls were brand new $100+
