 Post subject: Windshield wipers

Anybody figure out how to make their LUV wipers work inttermently, too. If so, how'd you do it?

They sell switches that you can wire into the stock controls.
My brother did that to a Nissan truck he had.

I had one of those on my first vehicle a datsun p.u. worked pretty good.
Can't help you with instuctions though it was on it when I got it.
Come to think of it, it had one of those aftermarket cruise controls that mounts to the blinker arm too...

I've seen that one at the parts store. It's nearly two inches square. I couldn't figure where to mount it.

Mine dont go all the way down either... but they dont sit quite as high as yours. I suggest diggin into it and finding out yourself. Gotta learn somehow.

Can't you just remove the wiper arms from the stub ends coming thru the engine cowl and re-position the arms lower on the spline end? That's what I did with mine. They were too low.

lol, i think i would get more dust in my lungs then air if i stuck my head out the window lol, it hasnt rained her in like a year. i guess ill just have to dig in there and find it like 1980mikado says, i think that repositioning it that way would make it so where they wont go up as far as i would need it. but ill check into it thx
