My question is why would you want to convert? 6 lug is better for loads right? Spreading the load across more lug studs.

I think it might be the availability of rims. 6lug vs. 5. And like with what I am dealing with right now is, I have 6lug in the front and just installed a ford 8inch rearend that is 5 lug in the back. So basically having 2 diffrent lug patterns, is kinda a pain for rims, but I can order the 5 lug rims to match the front, but its spendy. As far as looks, who is gonna know how many lugs I have when I pass them doin 120 8)

The guy that bought my trucks showed me pics of his rims. He had late model corvette rims on the back (5 lug) and early corvette rims on the front (6 lug)

It looked sweet.

I bought drummerforhire's trucks ( couldn't login-in under Wildman / aol )??

Anyway, I've got an S-10 rearend (for now), & factory front end.
I already had a set of 15x8 Vette Rally's, so, I slapped them out back, I ordered a set of early truck wheels 15x6's from Summitracing. Looks just like Vette rally's, except 6 lug, even the original disc center caps fit!!
The 2 front wheels from Summit, cost less than 120.$'s. to my door.

The rears have 245-50-15's.
The fronts have 165R-15's.
I wanted a set a 15x3 1/2's or 4's for the front.....But, they don't, & wouldn't make 'em.

talk to your local machinist about re-drilling your lugs

http://www.truckn-store.com/product_category.asp?id=513

I don't know if these adapters will work or not but you might try

http://www.precisionbrakescompany.com

I know these guys will re-drill LUV roters for 5-lug (they are local for me)

Most adapters cause the wheels to stick way out.
Luv4Me did it with Vega hubs, I bought em from him when I was back in his neck of the woods for work. I meant to say thanks earlier but I got a bit busy with work and all; Thanks.
I got them on no problem, with a set of 15x4 Draglites.
