take larps advise. get a new tire pronto. the difference in tire size can be detrimental to your rear end. see, one side will turn faster than the other causing the spider gears to turn at different speeds. this is like jacking up one side of the truck and allowing the other side to still be on the ground, while allowing only one side to rotate. your spider gears will heat up and eventually become brittle and possibly shatter. it happened to a buddy of mine in a ranger pick-up. n e way, yes get a new tire.

well it may be a while untill i get new tires just talked to my dad about it and we will go tire shopping (was going to get a set of BFG all terains but they are back ordered 3-4months 8O ) and get my christmass present a bit early (good off road tires for the beast). Untill then im just switching the bigger tire to up front. That wont do anything as long as i dont use 4x4 right.

it may be better to swap one of your front tires out so the ones on the back match. that way the smaller tire is on the front. course then you would have to be easy on your 4x4

Hey MEPR,
Just in case those tires you're switching are any good don't leave them on the front for too long either the will wear unevenly and probobly make you truck pull one way, Not a big deal if your not running like that for a short period thou.
Hope this helps...

Dave

yeah well my truck only got a grand total of 10miles on it that way (i drove my bros car today). And i have new tires. Only now i have a diferent problem, 27.5" A/Ts dont clear too well. Oh well every offroader knows the sawzall is his friend! Time for some fender trimming!

Where are your tires hitting the fenders? If it isnt too bad , just use a baseball bat and roll it between the tire and the fender while rolling the truck and it should clearence the fender pretty well without unsightly creases. Just take your time doing it. That is the way I did mine.

OR..... you can run it till it breaks, then you can tell your wife or whoever that since its broke, you might as well tubb it out. This is how it was for me. then go shopping for the ford 9, baby. Now this is some good down home advice. dont mention it. 8)
