well i'm just cuerious if it is possible. is it possible to have a 3 speed tranny with custom gears? (my Idea) for those of us who drive in the hiway: if the first 2 gears could be used and geared for raceing, and the 3rd be geard for mose mpg on the hiway. just a neet sounding Idea I had I was just wandering if it was possible

You're leaving to much open for concideration. Are you talking about auto or manual? Do you intend to run tall gears in the differential for gas mileage? Is this for a stock motor or a V-6 or V-8? In any case, i dont think it would be worth the effort and expense. The jump from 2nd to 3rd would be a big load on the trans.
