Key word almost! Most of you know I store my truck at my Dads house up in Wyoming, well I went up there last week to paint my new hood (and one for my dad) due to hail damage. Well my LUV was in the way so I figured I would take it for a (illegal) spin around the block since I had to move it out anyway.

The last time I drove it was about 3 years ago.
Well it fired right up after a shot of starting fluid, put it in drive and hit the gas peddle and I went.......nowhere, it has been sitting so long, over half of the tranny fluid had leaked out, (always remember to change your torque converter seal when installing a tranny like I didnt!

). So we had to push it out anyway into the back yard beside the garage. I was pretty disapointed, and it wasnt worth adding 4+ quarts of tranny fluid just to drive it. For a little truck, I forgot how heavy that dam thing was when we started pushing it!! Also dont know how I ever drove the truck either, I had to wedge my 6'3" body into the cab, of course I didnt weigh as much back then either.

Just figured I would post my mini adventure as I miss having the truck with me and here are a couple of pics.
My truck getting some sun for a few days (that is my dads LUV behind it)
The hoods I painted last week, sorry about the crappy pic, was the only one I took.
