My obsession has just begun. I had found this site when I was just about to give up on my Luv and Im glad I didnt cause It was going into the paper to be sold. Well I'm not a big help on the whole V-8 Swap but if you look and look and look on here you'll see a vast majority of these guys have done some really cool stuff to their trucks! Yes there are differences on the front ends as far as the headlight configuration goes I have a 75 and it has the dual headlights I think they went to the single headlights in 77 or 78 but Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong lol I am going to do my V-8 swap this summer (hopefully)

72-77 have dual headlights and 78-80 have single. The mikado was a luxury (oxymoron?? 8O ) option that has carpted interior, cloth seats, different steering wheel (I think) and extra emblems. Another thing is the tailights, the early ones (to 75 I beleive) have them in the lower pan and 76 + have them on the sides of the bed.

I think that that the 72 and 73's had the tail lights down low. I know my 75 has the tail lights on the bed.
