This arguing seems to be escalating. I am the site owner, but I'm not your parent. I'm not going to tell you how to behave. Every one of you should treat others like you would like to be treated. If you disrespect someone, then you can't expect any less than disrespect back from them.

Personally, I'm amazed at how much of a problem this has become.

I'm not on anyone's side.

I'd like everyone to stick around and get along.

How about everyone just take a step back from the situation and calm down? Once you've regrouped, come back with positive attitude.

After that point, if someone gives you a hard time, don't get mad. Send a moderator a PM and let them know what's going on. If we determine that a certain individual has a problem, then we will deal with that person the only way we can, by banning his ass from the site.

I love this site and think about it yall why do we come here ...its for help and to give help.... NOT to slam others rides or ideas nor personality.

daddywabbit dont take what I said in the other forum the wrong way but I seen a video of the truck .... I dont like all the fussin I like to read what all is up to and doing with there rides ... I hope we all can play nice together from now on

The purpose of this site, is to help fellow LUV truck owners. And with that help comes opinion's. People are going to have opinion's on certain things. And when I ask a question I want lots of opinion's. Doesn't matter what they are or anything, just lots of opinion's and idea's. It helps with the decision or job at task. People have to learn to respect other people's point of veiw. Heck ya might just learn something too

So lets all crack a and get along!

Yes, a little growing up would do a lot of good around here. I also am quite surprised to see all this bad mouthing and arguing going on between alot of different people here at this site, not just a few. I think alot of us here needed soap in our mouths.

Just a note.... some times some one might write some thing about you that hurts or whatever. Remember, its thier opinion and thats all. Just let it go, you don't have to feel threatend and fire back, just don't reply at all and that will be the end of it. I call it being the adult in the conversation.

But then again with out all this I'll have to watch soap operas with my wife for my daily dose of drama.

I think the Luv's only had them for a year or two. The pervious owner of my 80 Luv 4x4 put them on my Luv. I like old wing windows, but newer ones suck. Use to have a VW jetta with wing window and the lever was glued (came stock that way) and it kept coming off and was a pain in the but. The lever on the Luvs actually goes through the glass.

Speaking of..i have a real head-scratcher here gentlemen.i have a 80 Luv w wing window on driver's side, but non-wing window on pass side.
Ive looked closely to try and find signs of the door being replaced. if it was then they did an awesome job.i cant find a clue.
i think this truck must have been a 'Friday night special series"
My dad once worked in chrysler assy plant and the stories of some of the stuff that went on there was hilarious.LOL

I find it hard to beleve that would get past the dealer though. Maybe someone did a partial custom job to remove the wings like they do on VW bugs to be Cal style. you know what I mean?

Oh sure you have. It's the little ,usually, triangle window at the front of the regular roll up window in the door. All old cars and trucks have them . Untill about 5 years ago all big rigs had them Even my 97 ford f250 has them. You know, smokers like to open them to suck out the smoke and ashes when they drive. You know what I mean? I hope I explained it ok. Ron

Oh, i know what u mean but Im still scratchin my head on this.maybe some kinda extemely rare dealer option, and now this truck is in a million pieces all over my back-yard (but it was rust bucket anyway LOL
