There is a park down there by the brewery, I can't think of what the actual name is though. I want to say something like Tumwater Falls, but I don't know if that is correct.
There is also a drive-inn on the West-side of Oly, but again I can't remember the name of that either.
If you wanted to make it in Tacoma, I would say either Point Defiance or somewhere on the waterfront like Ruston Way?

Being transplanted from the South Sound, I'd suggest Ruston Way. It's nice enough and not as crowded as the Point usually is. back in my day, Ruston Way was the hot cruise spot in Tacoma. Anyway, I wish I could be there. You guys have fun, take some pics and post them.

Ya, you really can't "Cruise" down Ruston Way anymore, but they don't mind people parking and BS'n for awhile.

that sounds about right. seems like most places are going to a no cruise policy and shutting down the fun. around here you can't even sit and bs anymore. cops and business owners really frown on it. it sux...

Ya, I think probably Ruston Way would be my suggestion as well.
Point Defiance is really close to there, so if we decide to go somewhere else, we could just hit the park.

I just ran down Ruston Way really quick and did not see a Franks Diner anywhere. I will try and call them in a little bit and see if they are there and I just didn't see them.
If they aren't there, there are still plenty of places on Ruston Way to meet.

Franks Diner is still there, there just isn't a sign for them on the road.
There in the building that is part of the Metro Parks Department (inbetween CI Shenanigans and The Lobster Shop).

so my truck is not cooperating and still won't hold a charge. I am taking it to a mechanic on Monday, but for now, I can't drive it anywhere, especially all the way to Olympia. We've tried everything we can think of, and nothing seems to solve the problem. but I can still meet up with you all tomorrow at 2, I just won't have my luv. It's ok, though, at least the charging problem will be fixed by a professional.
