On my new truck the air cleaner sticks up a little through the hood and so I need a hood scoop, because I live in WA with lots of rain.

So will this or something like it work?

Thanks, Jess

As long as your air cleaner fits the diameter and doesn't stick through the hood more than 1.5" you should be fine, looks like it'll be pretty cool too.

getting 'clean preferably cool air to your carb and engine is a must!i have a fiberglass cowl 6 inch hood i race with and a hilborn scoop for street.....plus if you have a v8......you will want all the cool air ness for perf and cooling....just a thought.....i can't run my truck very far on the street without it trying to boill..even with fans, alum rad...super thermo....so much cam and no room for error......scoops look good in catalogs etc but sometimes when you get them, you realize theyare for shit..sometimes its better to buy a used one....if you can actually see it./////////////
