ok people, let's get with the program!

It's summer time, the time for car shows and you all are slackers! where is the LUV love?

so here is a truck show that I think we all can meet up at. Even if your luv sucks, you'd better be there. at least to meet some of the rest of us, that's what it's all about. so don't make excuses, and tell your boss and family you've got plans.

This is from the GM Classic Truck Club of Washington's webpage:

"We are proud to announce we will be holding Classic Heartbeat Pickup Parts Truck Show, on August 21st 2004. We are welcoming all trucks to show from 47-87. Write now our plans are to hold it here at our location at 335 93rd Ave. S.W. in Olympia, WA. If it looks like it will be getting too large we may relocate to a park that will better suit us. There will be hambergers, hot dogs, and soda pop here, but if we run out then that will be it... We will be having a drawing for a door prize whitch is a Cool Neon Bowtie this year. So far we are not offering prizes for the best truck or anything, it is just show for pride!! Spectators are welcome also. yeah so I have an....well....interesting update about this truck show. It very clearly says that

well I took a look around the classic heartbeat pickup website.....and it's mostly 67-72 (those the right years?) trucks. I and they don't sell luv parts. It sounds like it's at their shop/store whatever, but my b/f says some people on his gm truck site have said it's at this guy's house and that it's just a friendly get together.

so I really have no idea. I suppose it'd be cool to still go, but I can't help but have a dreading feeling that we'll feel a little awkward and unwanted.

any comments, suggestions?

I'd love to get together with some of you guys, if it were a little closer. I don't have a job, so gas is a problem for me most of the time. But it would be cool to have a get together before I have to get back to school.

I'd luv to come up, but between living in L.A. and going to work.....
I could make it to an event in so cal. but I bet none of you could come down .

ok well this thing is this weekend, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm kinda worried about us being out of place. But I am still going to be there 'cause my b/f is going (his year of truck is the primary truck at this show) and he still wants me to drive, too, to show all his truck buddies what I've got. so I will still be there. He says he's only gonna stay til 1 or 2, so if you all wanna meet someplace in that area around then, we could all meet up then. That is if you all are worried about us being out of place, too. But then again, I'm going to be there anyways, so you all could just show up too. lol well whatever you guys decide, let me know.

what I'm trying to say is that I think it would still be cool to meet up, just maybe later in the day and after that other show, since we're not wanted. I believe you guys are from that area, so know any good places to meet up?
