Is that a real confederate flag? Wow! It looks cool and all but yea, you might catch hell from both sides. Deep rooted southerners may see it as a desecration of the Confederacy. Yes there's a difference between the dash and the General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard). The General Lee has a painted representation of the Confederate flag prominently displayed across the roof of the Dodge. The dash has an actual flag that was cut and shapened. This can be looked at like if someone burned it. A Confederate flag hacked up for a Jap truck?
It is rather a unique idea and i think it looks cool, but dont be suprised if someone comes unglued over it.

where i live in tennessee most of the young blacks have already had their fun one of them stole their dads car to hit my truck with but they only messed up the door. alot of people have seen it and they haven't said nothing about it but "hey i guess he's really a true southerner". so thats how i looked at it. and the hting about it is it's not an actual flag it's a towel and i figured since i needed a new dash why not use what i love for my luv.

I Luv my Luv but I think more of my heritage and southern pride to something like that w confederate flag. If i did that my ancestors that was in the war would come outta thier graves and get me.
And besides, thats the truck I was thinking about buying from you and you told me you sold it...........so what exactly is the point here if you no longer own it

If you interpret the rule that way, why even ask? You've got a 11 replies and 167 views as I type. does that mean 156 people don't like it but aren't saying anything because of the rule?
Name calling isn't exactly saying something nice either.
The rule is for everyone not just one member.

OOps, forgot my opinion. I think it looks pretty good. Maybe you should hit up a local upholstery shop and see if they could make you a confederate flag tonneau cover. Just an idea...

My calling up of the rules was based upon Lil' Blue's incessant need to bash on people. A taste of his own medicine, if you will. My form is just a little softer spoken. The second reason for my post is the fact that he brought up a truck that was previously for sale and that he didn't get for one reason or another. This is a "classified" issue is it not? Regardless of the forum in which a post appears, it should apply (being a classified issue and all)...

I think everyone should share their opinions in a non-offensive manner, and be adults about it. Ben has got enough work to do puttin' this sight together without having to baby-sit grown men to keep these forums suitable for people who have to use school or library computers. If you feel like making a heated comment, just sit back for a minute and think of a mature way to say it, without cussing or tellin' people their not what they say they are, or they're not good enough. Everyone has been too good to me with info and help and parts for me to want to see anyone fighting. We're all friends here.
