 Post subject: Clutch hell

On my 1980 luv i was wondering if there was a way that I could make the pressure of the clutch and harder or softer and also in my truck the clutch has to be nearly released before it takes off; is there anyway that I can change this. Or do I need just to replace the clutch????

If its a cable clutch like my 78 you can adjust it up on the fire wall right where it comes out. You want about 1 inch of free travel .
