IT seems like my manual transmission is slipping what should I do. Also it seems like for my truck to get any power I have to put the pedal all the way to the floor is this right.

A manual transmission doesn't slip, but the clutch right in front of it can slip. When's the last time the free pedal was adjusted?

Never since ive owned it but i have only had it for a month before it was my grandfathers but he dont believe in working on cars he just drives em till they blow up and that usually happens pretty damn quick considerin the fact that he dont do nothin to but drive em. He dont even change the got damn oil.

If there isn't any free pedal, then adjustment is overdue. Just hope the clutch isn't ruined. Cable operated clutches are the opposite of linkage operated clutches. As the clutch is worn down over time, the free pedal disappears on the cable type. I try to keep about a half inch on my 80 LUV. As you can now understand, if the clutch is overdue for adjustment of free pedal, then it's been slipping and wearing excessively.

The clutch is adjusted with the nuts on the cable housing in the engine compartment at the firewall.
