So the plan is to install the 350/350 setup from the truck now and continue the 383 build in your spare time to be installed later? If so, thats fortunate for you. Not many of us are lucky enough to have a "spare" motor to throw in a truck. Plus you can get everything sorted out with the conversion before the 383 goes in (cooling system). Now that you have a backup motor, you're not allowed to whine and cry if the conversion doesn't go as smoothy as you planned. You wont get any sympathy around here "Mr. Two Motor Dude". You can swear and cuss the project, that goes for anyone doing a conversion.
