Ok, I now have the truck runnin and some where along the repair I found a wire that is part of the same wire harness as the A/C Compressor, Dist, and Oil pressure so all that leaves is the Thermo Unit wire. My Q is where is the Thermo unit? and Is this the Wire that sends the Temp reading to the dash?

Thanks

Yep! You can find the sensor on or around the thermostat housing, it's kind of hidden on the later motor.

the unit for this sender is under the intake manifold, in the vacinity of the thermostat. You will basically have to feel for it with your hand if you cannot get a good angle on it from underneath the truck.

yes its on the underside of the front of the intake manifold right along the runner for the #1 cylinder if i remeber corectly. Just feel for a little nub like that that oil presure sender has.
