Man!! I accidently found this site and it has brought back LOTS of old memories!! My first vehicle was a 1978 Chevy Luv Mikado. Didn't have it long before it was lowered, V8 swap, custom interior, custom bed, and other additions. I also added fender flares and an air dam. LOL!! That's what body kits were called back in the day! I will have to scan a few pics of the truck to post and see what you guys think of my old ride. Damn....looking at all your trucks makes me want to go out and start looking for one tomorrow!! Think I may have just been bitten by the LUV bug again. Oh, and just for those of you that are wondering...This was all way back in 1985. LMAO! Yup, I'm an old fart...see you around!

Man! I used to install overhead consoles like that. I was working at a van customizing shop when i was in high school (1978). The truck sure fit the times alright. Even the pinstriping!

Looks GREAT! I like it! Seems like the overhead thing wouldn't leave much room. Love the shaved handles and gate!

Keep in mind that these trucks are 20 years older now. Hopefully you'll find one that will suit you. Good luck with the search.

Boy!!! That brings back memories. I was in high school in the early 80's and the Luv I just bought, my first one, is really for my son. (when I get done playing he can have it). I was kind of wondering as to the age of most of you guys and really looking at the modern ways of tricking out your trucks. I was trying to show my son fender flares and front spoilers maybe even a visor so he could laugh at how we used to do it.

If i find one, i just might get it for myself. The Buick V-6 needs a home. I can build it and avoid some engineering mistakes.

Well by time I could afford the flares, they went out of style!! Still put the visor and air dam on though, they are still on the truck today! The visor will come off when I redo the truck but the dam will stay, to me they need to have something under the bumper. Old skool still rules!!
Welcome to the site Nd4SpdS10, I have an S10 also!

Hey, Tilted a quick question, How much did your billet grill run? I really like the look of it and I was thinking about maybe picking one up for my '01 S-10. Does Trenz have a website <------ I know a dumb question!! maybe I will look a little later.
Later,
Husker

Hey Tilted ... two very nice looking trucks!! I gotta agree with Husker on the grill. How much? That might just be what the front of my S10 is missing.
