Just thought that I would stop by and say hi, been lurking for a while now.

I got my 80 4x4 Luv in 86 and it broke down on me in 92 or 93. I had the engine pulled out of it then but it has been sitting since. I finally got the engine sent off to have it rebuilt and hopefully will have the thing running sometime this year.

Here are some pictures so that you can see what my poor truck looks like after sitting in the pasture all that time.

I have no idea what I am doing. I am not much of a mechanic so I will probably have lots of stupid questions.

The original engine from it is being rebuilt by a friends dad, although I haven’t heard back from him. Now I have to figure out how to pull the engine that is in it (from a 79) and the transmission. The guy that is working on my engine has my shop manuals, not that they would do me much good. I assume that they will have some info on what I need to do.
