Propane=Lost horsepower. We had a Dodge 1500 that run on propane, most gutless thing ever. Also didn't help that it was a dodge...

Probably was just that, a Dodge.

I have a company that turns over BIG trucks to Propane looking to see if it can be done. The guys interest was peaked when I asked him if he does small cars. he said "Never done one, but probably wouldn't take much."

I told him that its a new business opportunity! He got those eyes.... ya know.... The green ones

ITs not a very hard swap. There's lots of guys that run around here burning propane. Most vehicles you see them on are old 80's type Chevy's. Never seen a conversion on smaller vehicles, like LUV's. After owning one, and hearing mixed results from people, I advise against it. But I do a lot of towing and what not with my trucks, but if you just drive around the city not pulling or hauling much, it might be worth your while. The last propane conversion kit I seen was at the local big truck shop, where they sell exhaust systems, parts, all that stuff for semi's and work trucks. Never looked into it much, but im sure you could find a kit pretty easy.

So the Luv will have a problem lugging a trailer with a Lawn tractor on it?

Hmmm...

Sorry should have been more clear....when I say trucks, I'm not refering to my LUV. Im talking about 1 ton dually's lugging around 20,000lbs. I don't think the LUV would struggle much with a Lawn tractor however. Guess I'm forgetting what the LUV's are only capable of. My LUV is my toy. Kind of like a quad or a dirtbike. MY "truck" is my crew cab dually.

nice going there. for more grunt you could shave the head and put some bigger valves in there.

Also when turbocharging. if you can find a isuzu piazza the manifolds of that fit straight on.

yah i want to do all the cool stuff to it like that but the only thing i am worried about is if i do supercharge my motor to much compression and she'll be toast

but i guess i could get those special made copper gaskets i guess they can either lower or raise compression cause of different thicknesses

well i dont know bout valves if i ll get different ones till i do some research if i need bigger valves sometimes bigger isnt always better
definitely need a 5th speed in the luv though on the other hand

i want to get a collection of these g 180 and g 200 engines the cam bearings in these are huge they look like they could take the ponies
and they dont weigh but 300 lbs and if you were to get 400 hp youd better hold on tight with that luv although i dont know bout torque you could get you definitely need somthin like a supercharger and a turbo both

like have the supercharger running in low rpms then kick over to turbo once you get some speed so no lag at all  lots of money though

i need to learn how to port and polish heads  i heard its not that hard
