Anyone got a part number I can look for for a Windshield gasket? the ones that are in my trucks are well, a little past it and I am replacing the windshield (cracked) with one that isn't cracked.

Windshield gasket-Standard Part# WBL 247, Trim type Part# WCL 247
This is made by http://www.prp.com . Any auto glass dealer should be able to get it.

Im not sure. i never looked for them. The most common replacement has been a set of door seals from an Isuzu Trooper. They fit the Luv in the same manner only they need to be cut down to fit. I have a set of Trooper seals from the wrecking yard and they work quite well.

As for the rear glass seal. I have yet to find any source for a factory type replacement. The big thing in the 80's was to install a slider type window. So the demand for a stock replacement wasn't that great. If anyone finds a good rear glass seal, let the site know about it. I for one would get a new one in a heartbeat.

save yourself alot of money on a new gasket and go to your nearest autozone or Advance parts house and ask for what they call a "glass installation kit" cost is anywhere from $8.99 to $12.99 depends on what part of USA yer in. Now what this kit is , is a roll of real gooey tar like stuff, comes in a 15 ft roll, more than enoiugh for one windshield, you take exacto knife and cut your gasket in half all the way around when you pull your old windshield, clean the surface real good all around where windshielsd sits and apply this stuff, then put yer glass in, then you get a tube of black silicone and apply to inside portions of your old gasket and stick it back on. Also if you do this properly, this stuff is tuff, and 100% water proof, I install windshields now in a snap since i discovered this stuff, and its made by 3M. And then take the $50 or $100 you were going to spend on a new gasket and go have some FUN!!!!! hope this helps some of you guys out, cause i use this stuff on all kindsa cars, old n new and they turn out great everytime. Only thing is , DONT plan on ever pulling that windshield back out in ONE piece once its installed w this stuff, VERY tuff stuff.

Well I paid for one on eBay, and when it came there were TWO in the package.

SKORE!

I am going to get that goo though Lil. That stuff is great for sealing some of the water leaks in the truck too.

As for my rear window seal, It's so old and weathered that if i even try and handle it, it's gonna break in to pieces. It doesn't have a smooth texture to it anymore and i'd like to get a new one. Once i locate a good replacement i can remove both the wjndsheild and back glass, redo my headliner and put the glass back in. Then i can forget about it for another 30 years.
