 Post subject: race gas prices?

Just curious if anyone uses it would know if the price for race gas has gone up like regular gas has?

we buy the 114 Octane RACING FUEL " 76 " here at Meziere Enterprises. The price has stayed at 6.24 per gallon for the last 6-8 months.

the 118 nitrous blend was 5.95 per gal the last time I got some of that around here

yep av gas here is 2.55 or if the mood strikes slap on the alky carb 3.00 gal

The last time I bought race gas it was about $4.00 a gal. That was over 5 years ago though.

methanol for my kids jr. dragster is 2.00 a gallom.I know a man who owns an air port get av gas for 1.95 a gallon

buy racing fuel from tracks in 50 gallon drums runs about 2.65 cents a gallon here=in 50 gallon drums/talkin 110 octane plus.......no joke..never buy like 5 gallons..that sux......

i meant 4.65 cents a gallon....sorry guys but you can buy the 98 plus octane for that price but with racing motor you need 110.....

If you guys are running 100 LL avgas, be careful. That is still a heavy leaded fuel. It is not meant to be run in an engine designed for 87-93 UN-leaded fuel. I just pulled the head off of a toyota that was run on 100LL all the time. It had 3 burnt valves, and a hole in one of the pistons. Just tryin to keep everyones engines alive here :wink:
