A.B. 2683 would repeal the current pro-hobbyist exemption and replace it with a law requiring the permanent testing of all 1976 and newer model-year vehicles.

Bascily the old car/truck hobby is being the scapegoat, so some politican can say "look what I did, I helped cleaned the environment."
Most of these cars arent your every day driver. They are also well-maintained and are a poor choice for emmison reduction.

I urge all of you in Califrnia to use the link below to find your local assembly man or senator and write to them and tell them that you oppose A.B. 2683. They even have email, mail, and phone contacts.

Funny, I just heard on CCN that the number one polluters in this country were un-named big corporations that help fund campains for these ball washin pricks. Funny how that works. Anyone ever wonder why gas prices keep shooting up and the government wont step in? Itll take money out of their pockets. Youre absolutley correct about the scape goat.
