Dang, I was there every Friday night almost. Running my turbo Probe and few friends had some cool cars to run. I have a friend in white city with a '76 Luv primered that is building a new V8 for it, claims to run 10.8's this season.
You guyz definately need to come out and atleast watch a few, there are some crazy cars here.

Today I got alot done, I got alot of the wiring re-done, re-taped figured out what I'm gonna need for the v-8 swap as far as the wiring goes. Got some things cleaned up. Just bought a new set of rims! Hopeing I get this thing going by summer. I know I still need to get some pics of the doors and the front end. We'll try to do that soon. :D

Well I was driving down the road and cought this sign out of the corner of my eye " sbc 350 ,turbo 400 for sale $75 " So I turn around get the phone number and call. Anyway Long story short trani's great but the motor threw a rod well actually 2. Never seen so many pieces fall out a motor when you drop the pan, but the heads are in descent shape. The blocks got some pretty bad gouges in it so I dont know if its even gonna work, but if it does I still need new pistons, crank and it even snapped the cam in 3 pcs. So if anybodys got extra cheap parts let me know.

Well had the motor checked out, and as I feared it's crap! Hell couldnt even get one of the pieces of the cam out of the block. Man when those suckers blow they destroy anything that gets in the way and stuff that aint. So I got my eye on a 283 that will work just fine. Lets hope it is in good shape. :wink:

A little.... back tire looks like it has some tread on it, so that doesn't look right.

Does anybody know if the ford 8in that's in this truck came out of something that didn't require the rear to be modified. It looks like it has welds on each side of the shafts but im not sure if thats just the way a ford rear looks?

Well I think I am gonna sell this truck. :( Money is tight and I want to get my gray truck done soon with summer coming. I am gonna keep the rear end out of it, but I have a stock rear to go in it. I am asking $300 o.b.o. p.s no title [ but wont be a prob. at DMV ] Will get some better pics in a day or 2.
