just got the setup and now dont know what to do with it. I have no idea how to hook this damn thing up. I know how to take manifold off and put new one one but there is two gas lines going to the stock carb and only one going to the weber. Also, where the hell do you connect the vac advance hose to on the offy? If i can figure out those 2 things i think im good...also i noticed there is a spacer about 1 1/2 inches between the offy and weber...strange...anybody have this/know what it is and for?

Put a "Y" fitting to a short piece hose and connect to the carb. Then connect the two fuel lines from the truck to the other two connectors of the "Y" fitting. Is there no vacuum connector on the Offy manifold? Maybe drill and tap one in before mounting. Seems my Weber came with one vacuum port. Too late now to check. The spacer on my setup aligns studs for mounting, cuz the four studs on the manifold don't line up with the four mount holes on the carb.

Nate:
My Weber has 2 vacuum ports underneath the round black choke thermostat cover. 2 different sizes. My spark advance is connected to one and the other is capped.

When I was running a weber I found an inline fuel filter with a return port on it to handle the fuel line issue. It looked basically like the stock luv fuel filter only smaller and with a thing coming out the side where I hooked the smaller fuel return line. It worked very well for me. I figured I'd be getting the benefit filtering any crap that made it past the main filter before it got passed back to the tank for another run.

got the weber/offy in tonight finally. Tuned the carb good....drove it...wooohoooooo...Whats the big woop? Instead of spinning one tire i got both to barely chirp. Hardly a difference.

Well pull it back off and I'll send you a stock setup, then you can send me the offy and weber. Sounds like a good trade to me! 8)

What the Offy and Weber come off of? Maybe too small jets? The Weber I have on a stock intake on my LUV will chirp tires even in cold weather.

Since you didn't get any paper work with your Weber and I did with mine, I can scan the pertinent portions of it and email it to you. You want? Unless it's on their website. Lemme know.

Weber tuning info can be found at http://www.carbs.net/Weber/adjust.htm
In my experience, follow those instructions and it will be good to go.
