I'm puttin my 383 together now, and need to figure out what headers to run.
I'd like to run some 1 3/4" full length.
Is Hooker the only one? Any fit problems with the Hookers?
I'm also considering 1 3/4" block huggers.
The heads I'm using are on the large side (TFS), so a 1 3/4" is a must.

Thanks

Also I ran my luv with the stock 350, it turned a 14.1@99, thats at 2960lbs w/driver.
(it must be makin a wopping 250hp  - cant wait to see how the 383 does  )

the only full length headers I know of are the hookers.
and they are only 1 5/8 from what I remember.
might want to check sanderson. they make a shortie that might fit.

I really dont want custom headers.
I've heard they're (hookers) are 1 3/4", but I'll check. Hope they are.
I'm gonna call Sandersons too, see what they have.

I have the stock torsion bars, my truck is stock (aside for the drivetrain)
Its a work/cruise truck, but should run good, and be fun - for wuppin up
on all them mustangs / camaros / late model junk.
Just need to figure out my header options.
Thanks

the hookers will work just fine for ya' then.
that is IF you have the hooker mounts up front.
if you have homemade mounts I might go another route or change the mounts to hookers. from what I hear the hookers are extremely picky on where the engine is, since the tube wraps around the frame.

The Hookers are 1-3/4" primaries with 3" collectors.

They had a 383 Stroker on one of the shows on Spike TV today. They were going through and explaining what kind of cam and stuff you want to put in it to get the best performance for your application. Should have taped it but my wife has her soap crap on. So I couldn't take over both TV's without having a blue and grey fight. (Civil War)

They scheme to figure out how to piss us off. Or leave us. Either way it is win-win.
