Haha, I took mine back some mountain trails the other day and I have to say, mine probably sounds just like yours!! It's really annoying. I broke a few brackets for the exhaust system and so it's all loose. There are dents all over the exhaust too.
But the main reason why it sounds so ugly is because where the exhaust manifold attaches to the piping, it's loose and leaking there. Just be sure to check all over your exhaust to find your problem.

Ha! The manifold is broken right where one of the bolts goes in. So it's not like a secure and snug fit. Not that big of a deal to me.

Mine ticks, so I am swapping the heads. I got a complete set of remanufactured heads in the boneyard. They were used it looks like less than 5K.

And the reciept sheet said that too that was in the glove.
