A buddy and I were trying to figure out why my clutch on my 77 LUV wasn't working right, and another guy, who lives in my apartment complex, comes over and asks me if I want a parts truck.
So, I say sure. It's his brothers truck (75 longbed), and he tell's me, to just come over and get it, and it's mine. :D I like free!! :D
It's got a 2.0 Isuzu and a 5 speed tranny in it, but I need to put the top end of the engine back on because his son blew the head gasket on it.
I will take some pics and post them in a couple of days.

Ya, I am keeping the truck over at my buddy's place while I figure out what all work it needs on it. About the only thing I did today is wash it to get a few years worth of Washington off of it just so I can get close enough to it to work on it. I guess it has been sitting for a few years.
The oil pan was just barely hanging on under there. So I was trying to figure out how to get it the rest of the way off to see why it wasn't mounted correctly in the first place.
And of course, I forgot to bring the camera over there to take pictures. :( :roll:
I will probably swing by before I go to work tomorrow, and take a couple of pics. :)

The 5-speed will bolt right up to a gas motor. Had one in mine for about a year before the V8.

Yay, I finally got this thing running over the past weekend.
Not perfectly, but it's running. Even got to drive it home.
Drives great.

That is the one I got at the DWI auction! It is a great truck.

Mine did not have as much rust one it, but from the looks of it, that one is in fine shape.

I used a rust eater from Autozone and it turned all of the rust black, so now it matches the paint 8-) I have to find the rust spots now and get rid of them. Then get to spackling!

Well, guess what? :?:
I just picked up yet another LUV today. :D
This one is a yellow 79 stepside. 8)
The body and bed are in good condition except for behind the driver's door is pushed in (but door still closes fine). It needs alot of cleaning and TLC, but shouldn't be too bad of a truck. :?
I will try to get pics up next weekend. :)
It was supposed to run, but smoke alot. However me and a buddy could not get it to start. 8O
Oh well, time to pull the engine out of the 77 and put it in that one.
