Anyone able to cut the stock motor mounts off the frame with a cut-off tool or is a cutting torch or plasma cutter necessary?

you use whatever you got. if you want a v8 bad enough, you could even use a finger nail file.

My order of preference would be...
1. Plasma cutter
2. Torch
3. cutoff tool
4. sawsall
....
99. nail file
100. chew it off .
:D

My old man does regulator and torch repair. The other day he asked me " Ya got any use for a torch?" I said I could use one, but figured I could borrow his, besides I don't have bottles. So he says, well I got an extra set of bottles you can have and I scrounge a couple of regulators for you.
Can't beat that. all I have to come up with is a set of hoses.
He didn't have a plasma cutter layin around (I asked :D )
