lockright is the only one there is for a luv rear

hmmm....cool! What parts does the thing replace? The whole diff? Mine makes a shitload of noise and needs rebuilt or replaced neways...

a lockright is a "lunchbox locker" i believe it either replaces the spider gears, or fits inside of the carrier. you can put it in yourself, don't have to worry about setting up gears

If you are still looking for a locker and you are useing it for a dayel driver go for the arb locker it could help a lot :D

For the price of the locker I found I could halfway build a 9" rear end.

the thing with a 9" though is that you'd have to either convert it to 6 lug or convert the front to 5 lug...

could always find a toyota 2wd 1 ton(or also i believe mid 70s pickup) with the 8" diff. they're 5 lug and decently stout, lots of upgrades available for them

For the motor I'm saving up for, I'm going to have to have a 9". It's going to see a lot of track time once it's going so I'm going to do it right the first time. Somewhere down the road I see a trans brake making its way in also.
