its the thing that catches fuel vapor and puts it back into the fuel system. Whith a fuel problem first thing i would check is the fuel filter.

Yeah man, its almost definately not that thing causing your problems. You can pull it off, leave the hoses hanging and still drive around just fine. Not good for the environment or fuel economy probably though.

i agree on the fuel filter idea, thats where most fuel problems start. that thing in the bed only deals with fuel vapors and not fuel going to the engine. i disconected mine. i just plugged up all the hoses, not sure if my tank will vent properly after i put the weber on. i'll have to plug up the fuel return line since the weber has no place for one and since all my other tank hoses are plugged i think the tank is venting through that return line. anybody ever have any problems with tank venting?

When I put the webber on mine, I just put a Y connector right next to the carb and hooked up all three of those gas lines. It's running just great.

When you put a weber on you can get another connecter for the other side of the fuel inlet, just take off the cap that is on there if you want to hook up the fuel return line thats what I did (sorry rigel it has nothing to do with your question I would check the fuel filters and the fuel filter in the pump because there is one in the pump just take the pump off and twist the end cap off you can see where it turns), Shane
