Just bought an all original 79 4x4 Mikado. Plan on doing a mild restoration to it. It has the typical rotted rocker panels and the cab mounts holes in the cab are rusted through. Also has some places on the frame I’m going to have to patch and the motor is locked up. The rest of the body is as straight as you’ll find and all the interior is there. The dash is the nicest I’ve seen for being original. Only has 1 major crack in it. Planning on putting a little diesel, maybe a VW 1.9L, and a 5 speed in it.
