I blocked off the stock mechanical pump and used a Westbay Auto Parts generic electric pump. My stock electric pump was bad. John

It depends on who puts the engine in.I have had 2 with small block Chevy's and both had stock mechanical fuel pumps. Both also had home made mounts.I am running stock mechanical fuel pump on my big block for the engine and planning on putting a electric one on it for the nitrous.

I used factory style chevy V8 1970 caprice mounts.Square tubing that fit between bolt holes in the mount.Cut square on the mount end and at the needed angle to weld to the frame. You can see it if you look in the post on the Mustang ll front end. Also look in the photo gallery under
Scott Howard 78 Georgetown Tn.I have also put a small block in a Luv and a 350 Chevy in a Mustang making mounts this way.
