I have a 77 Luv and it always dies when I come to a stop at a stoplight. I replaced fuel filter. Fuel pump works. EGR blocked off, air pump gone and exhaust manifold holes plugged, air conditioning parts gone. I turned the idle up some, but it is really sluggish while in gear. I put it in neutral to keep it running at a stop sign. I replaced head gasket and redid the valves. I have had the carb apart for cleaning. What am I missing? Accelerator pump seems to function, dust boot not cracked. It just doesn't like running with your foot on the brake at a light. Vacuum boost issue? timing? time to pop a top! Swinedog
