My tail lights and wipers wouldnt work so i tried this procedure on how to basically re build your stock fuse box i found here on the luv page.......... http://www.luvtruck.com/pdf/Fuse_Box_Repair.pdf and i installed new fuses on the Luv and the wipers work fine and i got my tail lights to work as well but theres just one problem.....

As im driving and i turn my LEFT flicker ON it works fine but when i come to a stop as the flicker is still pushed down the flicker light dims and stops flicking, and when i let go of the brake and start accelerating it starts flickering perfectly fine. Whats going on??? I really need help on this one guys, Thanks

Your brakes and flasher are on completely different circuits. I would be cleaning the grounds back there.

Crazy question, if your mechanic knows what it is and he is working on the truck why are you turning to a forum that has a bunch of people that have never seen your truck?

Cleaning grounds? Meaning ground wires? If so I'll definitely check those out.

The reason is this is just some random mechanic guy i just met and told him to check out this issue im having, and since im not sure that what hes saying the issue is is correct, I logged onto here since we all have Luvs, to confirm that what hes saying is true hoping maybe some people on this forum have experienced the same problem or similar.

Not likely the flasher. The only thing common back there is the bulbs share the same ground. Make sure you have the exact same part # bulbs in both left and right, front and rear sockets.

You were right it was the ground wire that was real old and beat up, causing a small shortage in the stop light and the left signaler bulb. I bought new tail lights a while back, so i finally installed them along with new bulbs, and now everything works perfectly fine!! Thanks man i appreciate it alot!!
