Buy & install a generic mechanical oil pressure gauge. You can temporarily plumb it in at the sender or extend the line & permanently install it in the cab, Mine's mounted on the column shroud next to the aftermarket tach. If you install it permanently I recommend using soft copper tubing rather than the plastic/nylon supplied. See what oil pressure you are running at speed & at idle, if the pressure is within specs your sending unit may be bad. If the pressure is low, especially with lots of miles or low compression or oil consumption the engine clearances have probably opened up due to wear so much that the oil pump can't maintain pressure & you're due for an engine rebuild. Or less likely it could be a bad oil pump. On a side note: When asking questions about a problem please give vehicle information & when looking for parts add your location, sometimes it makes a difference.
